Mosaic jewelry is the fine art of meticulous placement of tiny mosaic pieces (tesserae) into a bezel or pendant (base) to create images or pattern. The tesserae for jewelry can be anything from beads to millefiori (Italian glass) to stained glass to charms. Each piece of jewelry is a matchless piece of wearable art. When Amy initially opened her business, she created and sold mosaic jewelry in her store. She took her business in a different direction for a few years but picked it back up with a passion. After more than a year of gathering and experimenting with various materials, she started creating again and teaching mosaic jewelry workshops to family and friends. The more her guests created jewelry the more Amy enjoyed helping them create more jewelry. After more experimentation and videos, Amy started offering mosaic jewelry workshops in her studio and on-site. She loves that each piece is one-of-a-kind and uniquely created.
